Who Are We?

Vigard was formed in 1995 by two clinicians who recognised the need for a cost effective form of eye and face protection in any surgical environment. Vigard surgical visors are now used by surgeons, dentists, doctors and nurses who recognise the importance of eye protection.

Whilst infection control is important for patients, Vigard recognises that protection from eye infection for the professional is a serious business and provides lightweight eye shields for anyone at risk from aerosol or debris contamination to the eye.

Orthopaedic surgeons, general surgeons, theatre nurses, midwives and dentists are just some of the professionals who use our surgical visors.
